My military medic father-in-law performed first aid in the field to keep the entire casing from cracking, but my laptop won't close and feels like the screen is going to fall off at any moment.
In five years, I've had two Lenovos, two major screen problems, one heat sync problem, two total hard drive total failures, and the in both laptops, the piece that holds the hard drive in place does not stay put. The screw falls out and then the hard drive falls out.
My last Lenovo bit the dust most completely about a month after the warranty expired. This one had the courtesy of falling apart about six months before its warranty expires.
If you have a Lenovo, do you have similar problems?
YES, my Lenovo has never been dropped or abused, yet all the screws on the left keeep falling out & I can barely close the cover!!!
ReplyDeleteWas told my laptop was a bit out of warranty & the cost would be $150-200 to fix it
ReplyDeleteI have a g505s and it's literally falling apart at the keyboard, I ca barely close it over. Shocking! No idea how much it'll be to fix...
ReplyDeleteI have a Lenovo Laptop for about 6 months now. It has lost a screw on the left side and my screen is now separating from the lid. I would recommend anyone thinking of purchasing a Lenovo Laptop, to reconsider. Build quality is poor. I'll see how they treat me for the Warranty and keep this post updated.

ReplyDeleteComfort is Lenovo's middle name as typing on the IdeaPad S12 is convenient as this model has a full-sized keyboard. This feature is not standard in many netbooks; plus, its touchpad is a very handy feature.
